Jean Clara Wright

Jean Clara Wright (nee Caldwell), 73, of Vermilion, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 after a brief illness. Jean was born May 24, 1943 in Lorain, Ohio. She had been a Vermilion resident for the past 46 years, moving from Lorain. She was known for her never ending love for her family. Her home was always filled with family and friends, with plenty of amazing food she prepared that could feed an army. She enjoyed going on cruises in the Caribbean, crocheting and spending time with her family. She loved spoiling her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, but most of all spoiling the love of her life of 53 years, Terry. She is survived by her husband, Terence "Terry" Wright; son, Scott (Kristy ) Wright; daughter, Beth (Dan) Mayer all of Vermilion; grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) Hohman, Aubrey (Zach) Scholl, Zach (Brittany) Wright, Alex Wright, and Chris Wright; great-grandchildren, Brantley Scholl, Cora Jean Scholl, and Maren Wright who will be arriving soon; and twin sister, Jane (Mark ) Trostle of Plymouth, MI. . She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Edna Rebecca (nee Berrington) Caldwell. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2016, from 4- 8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by inurnment at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Father Daniel Divis will officiate.
