Jeanne Brown

P. Jeanne Brown (nee Hartsell), 92, of Amherst, died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born April 7, 1924 in Columbus, and had been a Amherst resident for the past 50 years moving from Mt. Vernon, OH. Jeanne was a past member of Faith Baptist Church, Amherst and enjoyed playing cards, shopping, and antiquing. She is survived by her daughters, Sally (Robert) Russell of Oberlin and Lori (David) Afrates of Avon Lake; and her son, Dennis (Lyse) Brown of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verle W. Brown and her parents, Martin and Grace (nee Bartlett) Hartsell. Private services were held with interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville,OH.
