Jeannine Parsons (nee Howard), 78, of Vermilion, went to join her loved ones on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from St. John's West Shore Hospital, Westlake. She was born August 26, 1930 in Lorain, Ohio. She was a graduate of MB Johnson Nursing School and the Elyria Practical Nursing School. She worked as a licensed practical nurse for 33 years. She had worked for Amherst Hospital in the OB Department, the offices of Drs. Wagner, Evans and Rittenour and was night charge nurse at Golden Acres Nursing Home. She was a member of the Practical Nurses of Ohio. She enjoyed her family, gardening, sewing, fishing, and crafting and camping. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Leah Bower of Los Angeles, Deborah Markman of Huron, Candy Kishman (Dave) of Vermilion and Cindy Brundage (Dale) of Berlin Heights; son, Timothy Parsons of Vermilion; 10 grandchildren; 12 Great grandchildren ; and her brother, Vincent Howard, Jr.(Sally) of Elyria. Preceding her in death were her husband, Frank Parsons, parents, Vincent and Marion (nee Strehle) Howard; daughter, Robin Pennington (Bill; and her sister, Carolyn Kaminski (Robert). Calling hours will be Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 2-6 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral services will be Monday, July 20, 2009 at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with grandson, John Markman, eulogist. Interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
