Jesse T Moralez

Jesse T. Moralez, 84, of Vermilion, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake after a lengthy illness.

Born on August 27, 1939, in Boon Lake Township, MN, Jesse resided in Fayetteville, AR, for 22 years before returning to Vermilion.

A proud US Army veteran, Jesse's professional career included serving as President of the Mortgage Division of Lorain National Bank and working as the President of Prime America Financial. He also had a tenure at Ford Motor Co. in Lorain.

Jesse was an active member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion and a former member of the Church On The North Coast in Lorain. He found joy in gardening, teaching Bible School, and serving as a Boy Scout Leader.

Jesse is survived by his sons, Anthony (Darla), Christopher Moralez, and Matthew Moralez; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Pablo (Elvira) Moralez and David Moralez of Lorain, Lupe (Martina) Moralez of Colorado Springs, CO, Joey (Debbie) Moralez of Vermilion, and Alex Moralez of Colorado; and his sisters, Margarita Whatley and Jozie Moralez of Elyria, Manuela Casteel of Lorain, Anita (Daniel) Garcia of San Antonio, TX, and Mary Lou Gordon of Cape Cod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terri Sue Moralez; his parents, Jose and Manuela (nee Trevino) Moralez; his brother, Pablito Moralez; and his sister, Margarita Moralez.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at Lakeview Baptist Church, 591 Ferndale Ave., Vermilion, OH 44089. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Vermilion, where Military Honors will be presented.
