Jesse L. Visci, 87 of Sandusky, formerly of Amherst, died Wednesday, January 28, 2004 in Parkvue Health Care Center in Sandusky following a brief illness. He was born September 9, 1916 in Lorain, Ohio, and had lived in Amherst and Lorain all of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked for the U.S. Steel Company as an accounting clerk and in the rolling mill for 45 years. He was a member of Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain and IAV Post 1, Lorain. He enjoyed reading. Survivors include a son, Larry Visci of Ft. Myers, FL, daughter, Judy Visci of Wellington, OH, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his wife, Edith; parents, Louis and Theodora (nee DelGrosso) Visci; sister, Christine Drwal; and, brother, Carl "Babe" Visci. Private services will be held at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio, with Reverend David Woost, Associate Pastor of Catholic Church of St. Peter, officiating.
