Jill K. Reed

Jill K. Reed, 47, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023 after a sudden illness.

She was born August 13, 1975 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion area resident.

Jill graduated from Vermilion High School in 1994 and worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for various organizations.

She was a member of the Vermilion E & R Church and a former member of the Madeleine Chapter #204 Order of the Eastern Stars.  She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her rose bushes.

She is survived by her son, Aaron Jones; daughter, Lara Jones; brother, Brian Reed of West Hempstead, NY and her nieces, McKenna and Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Roberta (nee Ries) Reed and her sister, Rachel Leslie Reed.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023  at 10 am  at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.   The Madeleine Chapter #204 O.E.S  will conduct services prior to Reverend David Baynes, officiating.
