Joan Linda Kasler

Joan Linda Kasler (nee Ulrich), 82 Years, of Vermilion died Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Kingston Residence of Vermilion.

She was born January 20th, 1942, in Cleveland , OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 28 years. She had previously lived in North Olmsted with her loving family of five.

Joan is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jeffrey F. Kasler of Vermilion; children, Kelly (David) DeFlorentis of North Ridgeville, Kenneth (Jeanne) Kasler of Strongsville, and Kraig (Devon) Kasler of Fayetteville, GA.

Also left to cherish her memory are her 8 grandchildren; Brian, Katelyn, Kamryn, Kristyn, John, Collin, Ethan, and Kamdyn. Joan was loved dearly by her sisters in law and brothers in law and was a loyal friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurston and Helen (nee Drayer) Ulrich.

Joan enjoyed any time on Lake Erie being near the water, boating and watching sunsets. Her lake home was her haven. Joan was a member of the Huron Yacht Club for 35 years.

Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family more than anything else.
