Joanne Palange

Mary "Joanne" Palange (nee Cahill), 62, of Vermilion, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at MetroHealth Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born February 5, 1958 in Cleveland and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 2.5 years moving from Elyria. Joanne worked for Lakeland Cottages in Vermilion and loved being around Lake Erie. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and enjoyed Classic Rock, painting, knitting, and being outside. She especially loved her dogs and being a mother to her children and all of their friends. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Palange of Vermilion; daughter, Jacquelynn (Ed) Costa of Stow; son, Julius Palange of Port Clinton; brother, Thomas (Kathleen) Cahill of New England; and her sister, Deborah (Alan) Murdell of Westlake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Ellizabeth (nee Gannon) Cahill. Private services will be held.
