John H Angersbach, 81, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Elyria Regional Medical Center after a 3 week illness. John was born January 3, 1933 in Brownhelm, and had been a life long area resident. He was a self employed farmer and also sold Dixon lawn mowers. He was a member of Henrietta United Methodist Church and the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, spending winters in Florida, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Janice Angersbach (nee Hayth) of Vermilion; daughters, Shelly (Al) Fath of Brownhelm and Renee (David ) Baird of Pendleton, KY; grandchildren, Albert, Katie and Christopher Fath and Mike and Kirsten Baird; brother, Rol (Shirley) Angersbach of Brownhelm; sister, Sarah Rollin of Huntington, OH; stepsons, Jeff Abbe of Harold, KY, Steven (Carol) Abbe of Elyria, and Chris Abbe of Elyria; 13 step grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie (nee Peck) Angersbach; sisters, Frances Buchs, Dorothea Drechsler and Virginia Buchs; and brother, Howard Angersbach. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 2- 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11 am at the Henrietta United Methodist Church, 52148 St. Rt 113, Amherst, Ohio The Reverend Armando Arellano will officiate.
