John Richard Friel

John Richard Friel, 73, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born August 16, 1949 in Akron, OH.
John worked as a body shop manager and enjoyed gardening, riding his Harley, and Breeding and Showing German Shepherds.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Friel; daughter in law; Diane Friel of Huron; and grandchildren, Nichole D. Kimball, Jamie E. James, Allison M. Hay, Charlyn R. Friel, John R. Friel and Emily F. Friel IV and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlyn S. Friel; and son John Richard Friel III.
Private services will be held with interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
