John P. Furr

John Purnell Furr, 58, of Lorain, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was born August 23, 1963 in Memphis, TN and had been living in Lorain moving from Vermilion. John worked as a Roofer for many years and had also worked various factory jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed NASCAR, Rock and Roll music, and working with his hands. He especially loved spending time with his children and family. He is survived by his children, Bresais, Kainan, and Arianna Furr; sister, Denise (David) Pleischl of Vermilion; brother, Kevin (Monica) Furr of Amherst; mother of his children, Rebecca Watson; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Trey) Mitchell, Shannon McGann, John (Jamie) McCann, Brittany (Adam) Harness, and Brian (Melissa) Furr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Glenn (nee Rowland) Furr. Private services will be held.
