John Hartman

John Patrick Hartman Sr., Age 61, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022. John was born on March 7, 1960 in Lorain, OH to the late John C And Patricia Hartman. He grew up in the small town of Vermillion, OH and was known by his curly red hair and was the youngest of 3 children. At 18, he moved to Charleston, SC, where he found a love for cooking. John was well rounded and succeeded at many other ventures in life but would often find himself going back to his passion for cooking. He also had a love for people and singing at his church. Throughout his life, John was loved by many because of his outgoing personality, kindness to all he met, and his ability to make us laugh. John’s life will be cherished by his children: John Hartman Jr., Jennifer and Brian Andrews, Jack Hartman and Chris Mulvihill, and James Hartman. He is also survived by his brother Paul Hartman and sister Lynn (Hartman) Shaw. He will be missed by many. "A memorial is being planned for this summer at Sherod Park in Vermilion, one of John's favorite places..
