John T. Marsh, 75 of Lorain, died Saturday, July 15, 2006 in Community Health Partners West after a lengthy illness. He was born November 12, 1930 in Humboldt, TN and has been a Lorain area resident for the past 36 years moving from Memphis, TN. He was a WWII veteran of the the US Army. He worked in the stock department at Ford Motor Co., Lorain for 30 years, retiring in 1986. While at Ford he enjoyed selling hot Tamale's and was given the name "The Tamale Man". Mr. Marsh enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Mildred Marsh (nee Lambert), 3 sons: John T. Marsh Jr. of Lorain, Gregory T. Marsh of Bedford, KY and Philip D. Marsh of Lorain; daughter, Wanda McKenzie of Vermilion, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Preceding him in death were his parents, John T. and Arvenia (nee Cole) Marsh, brother, Bobby Marsh and 2 sisters: Mary Callas and Doris Munoz. Private services will be held.
