Josiah Wayne 'Joe' Poore

Josiah "Joe" Wayne Poore, 44, of Vermilion, entered into restful peace on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He was born March 25, 1974 in Hickory, NC and had been a Vermilion resident for the past year moving from North Ridgeville and Huron. Joe started Imperial Concrete Services from the ground up, which he operated for 20 years. Joe's life revolved around work, fitness training, and his family. He was part of the PR Triathlon Team. He completed an Iron Man in New York in 2017, a 50 mile Ultra Marathon in 2016, and a triple marathon every year. He had competed in and completed a marathon in 14 different states. Joe also enjoyed playing pool, spending time with his family, and being in the outdoors whether it was hiking, kayaking, or sitting around a bon fire. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (nee Phillips) Poore; sons, Ethan Josiah Poore and Spencer Wayne Poore both of North Ridgeville; mother, Deborah (nee Dotson) Hite of Ellenboro, NC; sister, Denise Poore Stallard of Christiansburg, VA; brother, Steve Shane Poore of Vale, NC; nieces, Lindsey Marie Bledsoe and Chastity Grace Poore; and his nephew, Steve Joel Poore. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Wayne Poore and his niece, Ashley Morgan Bledsoe. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 2:00 pm until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
