Juana A. Campos, 86 of Avon, died Saturday, June 5, 2004 in Avon Oaks Nursing Home, Avon, after a lengthy illness. She was born March 12, 1918 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She lived the past 10 years in Avon moving from Puerto Rico. She had worked in a factory and a bakery in New York in her younger years. She enjoyed traveling and cooking. Survivors include three brothers, Edward Campos of Lauder Hill, FL, George Campos of Palm Harbor, FL, and Marcelino Campos of New York, NY; two sisters, Emilia Rodriguez of Brooklyn, NY and Margarite Campos of Portland, TX; and several nieces & nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Amadeo and Marcella Campos and brother, Amadeo Campos. Friends may call Monday, June 7, 2004, from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Rev. Bob Kistamaker, Pastor of House of Praise International Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
