Juanita Marie Day

Juanita Marie Day (nee Henline), 57, of Vermilion, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 24, 1968, in Lorain, Ohio, and was a lifelong resident of Vermilion. Juanita graduated from Vermilion High School in 1986. She devoted her life to her family and took great pride in being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Juanita especially cherished time spent with her grandson, who brought her immense joy. She also enjoyed crafting and cooking, often sharing her talents and warmth with those she loved.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Frank Day of Vermilion; her father, Delmos Henline of Vermilion; her sons, Frank Day and Warren Day, both of Vermilion; her grandson, Carl Day; and her sisters, Barbara Sparks of Kentucky, Bertha (the late Charles) Evener of Vermilion, Caroline Henline of Norwalk, and Jearoline Henline of Elyria.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette L. Henline.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Vermilion.
