Judith Ann Griffith (nee Wright), 87, of Vermilion, died Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a brief illness.
She was born September 25, 1935 in Avon, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 78 years moving from Lorain.
Judith graduated from Vermilion High School in 1953 and worked for Kmart for 20 years .
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 69 1/2 years, Robert "Skip" Griffith; sons, George (Kelly) Griffith of Sheffield Lake and Charles (Paula) Griffith of Smyra, TN; daughters, Michele (Joe) Traina of Lebanon, OH and Deborah Whitlock of Chickasha, OK; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jenny (nee Chapman) Wright; sisters, Betty Krause, Bertha Zolnai, Doris Puma and Barb Smith.
Private services were held.
