Judith Lynn Waters

Judith Lynn Waters (nee Caskey), 62, of Vermilion, died Friday, February 15, 2019 Mercy Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born May 14, 1956 in Middletown, OH and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Judith graduated from Vermilion High School in 1974 and worked for Ford Motor Co. in the cafeteria for 25 years retiring in 1998. She was a member of Firelands Baptist Church, Florence where she played cards with the ladies group on Wednesdays. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, playing games on her phone, reading, puzzles, shopping, and cooking and baking. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ernest Waters of Vermilion; son Jeff (Leslie Johnson) Caskey of Elyria; granddaughters, Katelynn and Lauren Waters; step sons, Keith Waters of Lorain and David Waters of Elyria; brother, Jerry W. (Priscilla) Caskey of Florence Twp.; and her sisters, Cheryl L. Bagley of Sandusky and Kathy Bradley of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virginia (nee Sorrell) Caskey and her brother, James Edward Caskey. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb.. 20, 2019 at 11:30 am at the Firelands Baptist Church, 12320 OH 113, Wakeman, OH 44889. Pastor Ed Young will officiate.
