Judy N Bilby

Judy Bilby (nee Hunnell), 75, of Wakeman, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Judy was born April 27, 1943 in Amanota, Virginia. Her and her husband, Chuck, shared a love filled life together for the last 57 years. Originally from Vermilion, she never lost her love for the history of the area and would often share stories and memories of her time spent exploring with her friends and family. Her passion for flowers, ceramics, painting, quilting, reading and a good thriller was only surpassed by her passion and love for her family and friends. Her elegance and class was apparent to all those who met her. She carried herself with poise and always knew the perfect outfit for any occasion (never forgetting to add just a splash of color). She is survived by her husband, Charles Bilby of Wakeman; sons, Mark (Eve) Bilby of Pinetta, Florida and Fred (Kristinia) Bilby of Berlin Heights; grandchildren, Leah, Elizabeth, Jason, Travis and Kyla; 4 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; sisters, Margaret Rhodes, Sheila Hiteshew and Sandra "Kay" Slater; brother, James Hunnell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth (nee Ollis) Hunnell. Private family services were held.
