Julia M. Flaczynski

Julia M. Flaczynski, 98, of Lorain, died Thursday, July 21, 2005 at her home. She was born January 12, 1907 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident. She worked as a seamstress for the Weitz Company and the Richmond Brothers Clothing Factory for many years and also as a beautician from her home for years. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Lorain and enjoyed sewing and dressmaking, baking and crossword puzzles. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lawrance and Mary (nee Strugarek) Flaczynski , brothers, Adam, Peter, John, Thomas and Lawrance; and sisters, Margaret Pikora and Louise Dauscher. Their will be no visitation. A Mass of Chrisian Burial will be at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Edward Luca, pastor emeritus at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Sheffield and Reverend Mr. Robert J. Dybo, Deacon at Nativity BVM will concelebrate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Nativity BVM Church Restoration Fund, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
