Julia F. Trebonik

Julia F. Trebonik (nee Kuznar),93, of Lorain, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, North Canton after a 6 month illness. She was born November 27, 1917 in Lorain, where she has been a lifelong resident. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. When she was younger she enjoyed playing softball. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and following the Cleveland Indians. She is survived by her sons, Ted (Sandy) Trebonik of Mansfield and Thomas (Marie) Trebonik of North Canton; 5 grandchildren: Jeff Trebonik, Jonathon Trebonik, Jennifer Dover, Alexis Trebonik, and Nick Trebonik; step-grandchildren, Christi Simiele and Allison Hahn; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (Tom) Podboy of Lorain and Teena Lepkowski of Amherst; sister-in-laws, Theresa Kuznar and Tess Wrzesinski of Lorain; and brother-in-laws, Ali (Mae) Treboniak of Lorain and Stan Treboniak of Avon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Trebonik in 1992; parents, Frank and Valeria (nee Jachym) Kuznar; sisters, Stella Tusko, Mary Smigel, and Lottie Nibert; and brothers, Mike, John, Ben, and Joe Kuznar. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1939 Oberlin Avenue Lorain Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10:00 am followed by a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Paschal Leonard Petcavage, O.S.B. will officiate.
