Karen Lynn Tkach

Karen Lynn Tkach (nee Abel), 42, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 in Community Health Partners West after a 2 year illness. She was born December 20, 1963 in Fort worth, Texas. She has been a Vermilion resident for past 37 years, moving from Mansfield. She had also lived in Lorain. She attended Lakeview Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling and playing cards. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Sharon Cooley of FL; Heather Tkach and Rachael Abel both at home; a son, Michael Tkach at home; mother, Linda Messaros of Vermilion; 2 sisters, Beverly Zimmerman and Kathie Messaros both of Vermilion; a brother, Ronald Abel of Vermilion, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Ronald Tkach in 2001 , parents, William Abel and Linda Callihan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Tkach in 2001; and her father, William Abel on May 19, 1999. A memorial service will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 7 p.m. Matt Humphrey, Life Celebrant, will officiate. Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
