Katherine Alice Laub

Katherine Alice Laub (nee Buell), 93, of Vermilion, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain. She was born May 31, 1911 in Vermilion, and had been a Vermilion resident over 30 years. She had lived in Elyria, Pompano Beach, Florida and Cleveland Heights. She was an office worker at Thew Shovel, Lorain. She was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Vermilion. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, and gardening. Survivors include her sister, Mary Jane Porter of Vermilion, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Laub in 1992; parents, Dr. Bernard and Orpha Mae ( nee Post) Buell and her brother, Henry Buell. Friends may call Monday at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, from 11 a.m. until the time of a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Brownhelm Cemetery, North Ridge Road, Vermilion.
