Kathleen Jarrell

Kathleen "Kitty" Jarrell (nee Peters), 82 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Grace Hospital, Amherst after a lengthy illness. She was born April 28, 1922 in Dorothy, WV and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 24 years moving from Elyria. She was a former manager of the Sherwood Forest Apartments in Elyria. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Survivors include 3 sons, Herschel Jarrell of Berlin Hts., Pat Jarrell of Vermilion, and Danny Jarrell of Louisville, KY; one daughter, Jean Jabbusch of Vermilion, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother, Bob Peters of Algood, TN; 2 sisters, Bea Sizemore of Wise, VA and Loretta Huchinson of Phoenix, AZ. Preceding her in death were her husband Lonnie Jarrell in 1996, parents John Lewis and Virginia (nee Cantley) Peters, one sister and several brothers. Friends may call Wednesday. August 25, 2004 from 4-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Thursday August 26, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Linwood Chamberlain, Jr., pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lorain, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
