Kathleen Miskel

Kathleen M. Miskel (nee Loe ), 94, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Kingston of Vermilion where she had been a resident for the past 2 years. She was born June 25, 1918 in Cygnet, OH , and had been a Vermilion resident since 1984 moving from Medina, OH. Kathleen was a bookkeeper for the Medina County Auditor retiring in 1984 after 15 years of service. She had also worked Otis Cronk, Accountant, for 10 years. . She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion, and had been a volunteer and auxiliary member at Mercy Hospital, Lorain. She enjoyed working in her yard. Kathleen especially enjoyed caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Kathleen is survived by her daughter Madelyn (Marsh) Anderson of Vermilion; granddaughters Karen (John) Bradford, Beth (Paul) Fabanich, and Julie (John) Jones; great-grandchildren Ryan, Kristie, Derek, Eric, Grayson, and Kara; 2 step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Julia (nee Casey) Loe, husband Farrell in 1978, brother Claude Loe, sisters Arlene Loe, and Joanne Drake. The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Cristian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 731 Exchange St., Vermilion. Following services the family will receive friends for a luncheon at the Amvets Post 22, 1517 St. Rt. 60, Vermilion. banquet hall from 12 noon till 2:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be held in Eastlawn Memory Garden, Brunswick, OH.
