Kathy Vaughn Escue

Kathy Vaughn Escue (nee Duley), 71, of Elyria, died Monday, July 18, 2022 at Life Care Center of Elyria after a lengthy illness. She was born August 2, 1950 in Kingwood, WV and had been a Elyria resident for the past 12 years moving from Vermilion. Kathy worked as a LPN for 30 years for several nursing homes including Classic Care, Anchor Lodge, and she retired in 2016 from Providence Heath Care, Norwalk. Kathy was a member of Midway Baptist Church, ELyria. She enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting, making primitive crafts and distressing signs. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Jennifer ) Escue of Elyria; granddaughter, Samantha Jones; brother, Denny (Sue) Duley of Norwalk; sister, Janet Reaser of Lorain; niece, Tracy Johnson; and her great niece, Payton Reaser. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth (nee Jeffers) Duley and her brother-in-law, Robert Reaser. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Midway Baptist Church, 41812 Griswold Rd., Elyria, OH 44035. Pastor Rick Keesee will officiate.
