Kenneth A. Galm, 72, of Vermilion, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 28, 1953, in Painesville, Ohio, and had made Vermilion his home for the past 48 years, moving from Avon Lake.

Ken dedicated his career to the automotive industry, serving as a used car sales manager for several area dealerships, including Mike Bass Ford. He was known for his strong work ethic, friendly personality, and the many relationships he built throughout the years.

He was a member of AMVETS Post #22. An avid golfer, Ken also enjoyed boating and spending time socializing with friends.

He is survived by his brother, David (Beth) Galm of Canton, Michigan; sister-in-law, Charlotte Galm; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, G. Donald and Irene Louise (nee Komendat) Galm and his brother Donald Galm.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 Noon at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. 

The family suggests memorial contributions to AMVETS Post #22, 1517 State Route 60, Vermilion, OH 44089.
