Kenneth Robert Hopkins

Kenneth Robert Hopkins, 65, of Vermilion, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born August 5, 1944 in Cleveland and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 22 years moving from Greenwich, OH. He graduated from Oberlin Business college and retired from Scandura Inc., Port Clinton and Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was the manager of Information Systems. After retiring, he owned KRH Enterprises, Vermilion where he did computer consulting and was a distributor for Dac horse products. Ken was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Vermilion and Greenwich United Methodist Church, Greenwich, Ohio. He was also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and enjoyed horses, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 26 years; Donna (nee Snell) Hopkins; mother, Jeanne Hopkins of Greenwich; daughters, Christina (Randal) Warrick of Greenwich, Rachael (Kenneth) Kiplinger of Tipp City, Rebecca ( Michael) Rust- Parker of Waukesha, WI; 6 Grandchildren, Brennan, Evan and Collin Warrick, Ashton and Marshall Kiplinger and Devin Parker; his brother, Danny (Betty) Hopkins, Litchfield, and sister, Cynthia (Paul) Keinath, Dublin. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Hopkins in 2007. Friends may call Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 3-7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South Street Vermilion. Friends may also call Thursday, May 13th, 2010, from 3-7 pm at the Greenwich United Methodist Church, 18 East Main Street, Greenwich, OH. Services will be held Friday, May 14, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Greenwich United Methodist Church, 18 East Main Street, Greenwich. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greenwich, OH.
