Kenneth Vincent Kollen

Kenneth Vincent Kollen, 63, of Huron, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 in the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland. He was born March 2, 1942 in Cleveland, lived in Parma and moved to Huron 36 years ago. He worked as a manager for LTV steel, Cleveland (now ISG) for 40 years. He enjoyed golf, playing cards, boating, fishing, swimming, and motocross. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sharon (nee Dunn) Kollen; sons, David Kollen of Vermilion, and, Brett Kollen of Cleveland; daughter, Kelly Kollen of Huron; grandsons, Kenneth Mitchell Kollen and Cory Justin VanderBaan; sister, Audrey M. Sokol of Westlake, and his mother, Mildred (nee Brakawiecki) Kollen of Amherst. Preceding him in death was his father, Vincent Kollen, 1995. Friends may call Friday, April 8, from 6-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 10 a.m. Carl Kopocs of the Birmingham Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will officiate.
