Kenneth M. 'Hungerford' Moore

Kenneth M. Moore (Hungerford), 57, of Vermilion, died Monday, February 15, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 12, 1958 in Berea, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 9 years moving from Elyria. Kenneth worked for Design Engineering Inc., Avon Lake and had also worked for Modern Tool and Die, Elyria. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching NASCAR, his animals, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Keith Hungerford of Vermilion; companion, Sandra Neely of Vermilion; her children: Amy (Vince) Morales, Donnie (Karen) Neely, and Josh (Lisa) Neely; nieces: Katelynn and Summer Hungerford; and grandchildren: Vince, Karis, and Angelique Morales and Grace, Will, and Jocelynn Neely. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jay Hungerford and his brother, Robert Joseph Hungerford. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 from 5:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. The Rev. Cliff Morris will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions to Friendship Animal Protective League 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035 or the American Cancer Society Ohio Division Inc., 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
