Linda S. Zander

Linda S. Zander (nee Root), 59, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 6, 1963 in Lorain, and she had been a life long Vermilion resident.

Linda had worked for Easter Seals prior to her illness.

She enjoyed crafting, cooking, and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Lucille R. (nee Pohorecki) Root of Vermilion; sons, Michael Burgraff of Lorain and Matthew (Nicole) Burgraff of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren, Ava, Fallon, and Rylee; sisters, Terri (Joe) Pabon of Vermilion and Deb Gray of Toledo; brother, Ted Root of Dallas, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Root; brothers, Danny and Richard Root; nephew, Daniel Root; and her cousin, Janice Mosakowski.

Private services will be held.
