Lisa Marie Jones

Lisa Marie Jones, 34, of Vermilion, died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at her home. She was born August 26, 1980 in Elyria, and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Lisa was a student at Lorain Community College and enjoyed writing and making clothes and jewelry. She had a passion for music and art, especially painting and doing sculptures. Her daughter, "Lilli", was her number one priority. She is survived by her daughter, Lillis Jones at home; mother, Laurie E. Strick-Jones of Vermilion; father, Dwayne Jones of Vermilion; half brothers, Dustin Jones of Vermilion and David (Caroline) Gayheart of TX ; half sister, Sara (Mark) Tidwell of Vermilion; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles 'Jim" and Suzanne Strick and paternal grandparents, Lathat and Viola Jones. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 from 4:00 pm until the time of a memorial service at 7:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. The Reverend Michael Levelle will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
