Lois Stone

Lois Stone (nee Leimbach), 78, of Berlin Heights, passed away early Saturday morning, February 27, 2016 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky after a short illness. Lois was born June 16, 1937 and lived most of her life in Berlin Heights. She was a member of the first graduating class of Firelands High School. Throughout her life, Lois grew a strong faith and was an active member of her church, and had much love for her family and her cats. Many people remember Lois from working at the Vermilion Ponderosa. Lois is survived by her daughter Darlene Browse of Lorain; sister Janet Boone of Berlin Heights; brother Gerald Leimbach of Columbus; eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Margaret (Horning) Leimbach, daughters Cheryl Amezquita-Stone and Angela (Stone) Scott, brother Robert Leimbach, and sister LaVonne Carter-Leimbach. Friends may call Wednesday, March 2nd from 5-8p.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion.
