Lora Evelyn Corder

Lora Evelyn Corder (nee Decker ), 71, of Vermilion, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Lora was born April 22, 1941 in Monticello, KY, moving to Vermilion in 1958 . Lora was a homemaker and a member of the North Lake Missionary Baptist Church in South Amherst. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Dianne (Lenvil) Jones of Vermilion and Melissa (Dennis) Riggs of Wakeman, Tammy (Tammy) Corder of Louisville, KY, and Thedford Allen (Judy) Corder of Norwalk; 14 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; sister Velda Collins of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Kenneth (Tammy) Decker of Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Thedford Corder on May 11, 2006, parents Conrad and Dorsey (nee Worley) Decker, sisters Marlene Evener and Lois Jones, and brothers Eugene, Clyde, Donald, and Thomas Decker. The family will receive friends on Monday September 24th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at North Lake Missionary Baptist Church, 323 N. Lake St., South Amherst. Pastor Jayson Samons will officiate.
