Loredel Helene Beal

Loredel Helene Beal (nee Mackert), 82, of Wakeman, died Friday, October 14, 2022 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 17, 1940 in Elyria, OH and had been a Wakeman resident for the past 52 years moving from Lorain.

Loredel graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in 1958 and worked for Murray Ridge for 2 years and volunteered for Lucy Idol as well as being a homemaker.

She faithfully attended Four Square Gospel Church. She loved nature and enjoyed gardening, bird watching, taking care of animals and yardwork. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William  Beal of Wakeman; sons, Timothy (Kathy) Beal of Elyria, and son, David  (Kathy) Beal of Ruffsdale, PA; grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Smith, Jonathan (Meagan) Beal, Jason (Amber) Beal, and Jennifer (Nathan) Gernert; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her  parents, Bernard "Bernie" and Marie (Kiser) Mackert, and brother, Mick Mackert.

Private services will be held.
