Loretta A. Wilson

Loretta A. Wilson (nee Dempsey), 71, of Vermilion, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born March 6, 1947 in McKeesport, PA and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 60 years moving from Homestead, PA. Loretta worked for Lake Point Nursing Home as a nurses aide for 10 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Freddie Wilson of Vermilion; sons, Larry (Kris) Wilson of Vermilion, Marty (Christy) Wilson of Sheffield Lake, and Josh (Chelsie Hensley) Wilson of Vermilion; daughter, Deborah Wilson; grandchildren, Samantha, Raymond, Patrick, Dylon, Dalton, Bella, Jazmine, and Josh Jr.; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Pete Dempsey of Port Clinton and Dave Dempsey of Amherst; and her sister, Lois Toth of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Dempsey; mother Rita (nee Smith) Crall; and her sister, Patsy Terrell. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. Pastor Mark Jones will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.riddlefuneralhome.com.
