Louella Kolk

Louella R. Kolk (nee Washtak), 83 of Lakewood, died Saturday, May 10, 2003 in Lakewood Hospital after a short illness. She was born October 6, 1919 in Lorain, Ohio and has been a Lakewood resident for the past 50 years. Mrs. Kolk graduated from Vermilion High School in 1937 and Spencerian Business School in Cleveland (presently Dyke Business School). She worked as a Book keeper/ Secretary for Reagan Construction Company in Cleveland for over 25 years retiring in 1985. She had attended St. James Catholic Church, Lakewood. She enjoyed reading, and had an interest in history, especially biographical history. She is survived by a nephew, Lon Washtak of Maumee, OH and niece, Dayle Noll of North Ridgeville, OH. Preceding her in death were her husband Raymond Kolk; parents, Carl and Magdeline (nee Pschola) Washtak; and brother, Raymond Washtak. Friends may call Tuesday May13, 2003 from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 11:30 am at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion. The Rev. Father Steven Blum, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
