Lucielle " Lucy" Perry (nee Carroll), 66, of Vermilion, died Monday, September 5, 2005 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness. She was born February 21, 1939 in Pikeville, KY. She has been a Vermilion resident for the past 25 years, moving from Lorain. She worked at the Ford Motor Company in Avon Lake on the sealer line for 18 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Northern Ohio Classic Car Club and enjoyed the rides through the country. She also enjoyed interior decorating, arts and crafts, shopping, music and cooking. She was loved by all of her neighbors. She is survived by her husband, of 28 1/2 years Daniel Perry; 2 sons, Shawn Perry of Vermilion and Rick Hall of Lorain; 2 daughters, Joyce Hicks of Junction City, KS and Janet Turk of Vermilion; and 5 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9, 2005 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Saturday, September 10, 2005, at 11 am with the Reverend Chuck Davis, pastor the First Assembly of God in Vermilion, officiating. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Center, c/o Ireland Cancer Center CHP, 41201 Schaden Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
