Lucille E. Coultrip

Lucille E. Coultrip (nee Hauff), 97, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born January 16, 1922 in Vermilion where she had been a life long resident. Lucille was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church and a life member of VFW#7576. She enjoyed cooking and being a mother, caring for her family. She is survived by her sons, Ernest W. Coultrip of Vermilion and Earl W. Coultrip of Vermilion; daughters, Phyllis (Jessy) Golden of Oberlin, and Helen (Dave) Walker of Vermilion; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Coultrip in 1995; parents, John and Lillie (nee Boone) Hauff; brother, Albert Hauff; and her sisters, Clara Neiding and Dorothy Lengyl. The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend James Peter will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
