Lucille Mae Johnson (nee Nuhn), 71, of Brownhelm Twp., died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Stein Hospice after a brief illness. Lucille was born August 24, 1943 in Lorain. She was raised in Vermilion and graduated from Vermilion High School in 1961. She lived in Vermilion until moving to Brownhlem Twp. 6 years ago. She was a member of the Sheffield Lake United Church of Christ, Madeline Chapter #204 Order of Eastern Star; and the Brownhelm Historical Association where she served on the cemetery committee. She enjoyed genealogy, her cat "Miss Kitty", socializing and gathering with friends, and spending time with her family. She always thought of others, and was known for remembering to send greeting cards to family and friends on special occasions. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Johnson of Brownhelm Twp.; daughters, Susan Johnston of Sandusky, Janet (John) Pavia of Amelia, and Dianne (Christian) D'Andrea of Cheektowaga, NY; step daughter, Terry (Charles) Gross of Woodinville, WA; and grandchildren: Charles F. Gross, Stevie O'Donnell, Jonathan Gross, Brett Pavia, Matthew Pavia, Tanner Johnston, Lucas D'Andrea, and Logan D'Andrea. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Phoebe (nee French) Nuhn. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. The Reverend Nick Cacciatore will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. The family suggests memorial contributions to Brownhelm Historical Association, P.O.
