Lula Belle Chapman

Lula Belle Chapman (nee McGlothlin), age 62, of Lorain, died Monday, January 5, 2004 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a short illness. She was born on July 16, 1941 in Clay County, West Virginia and had lived in Lorain for the past 6 years. She had also lived in Cleveland. A homemaker, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed home crafts, sewing , crocheting and was an avid web-tv internet user. Survivors include her daughters, Diana Chapman of Cleveland and Cheryl Chapman of Lorain; sons, Richard of Cleveland, Billy of Avon and Randall of Lorain; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Patsy McGlothlin of Middleburg Heights, Ann Dye of Newton, WV and Faye Towner of Dexter City, Ohio; brothers, Bud, Mike and Coy McGlothlin, all of Newton, WV. Preceding her in death were her parents, Dow Coy and Virgie Ann McGlothlin. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 7, 2003 from 10:00am until the time of services at 11:00am at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Interment will be in West Virginia at a later date.
