Marcia Jean Collins (nee Mikolanda), 64, of Lorain, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 in Community Health Partners West, Lorain, after a lengthy illness. She was born April 23, 1941 in Lorain, and had lived in Vermilion 30 years before moving to Lorain. She had attended Ohio State University and had worked at Driscolls Music Store and Century Tel, lorain. She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Vermilion, where she was organist. She had played organ at many other area churches. She gave private piano and organ lessons and was an avid Bingo player in Lorain, Amherst, and Berlin Heights. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Gordon "Bud" Collins of Vermilion; daughters, Renee L. Stever of Berlin Heights, Lisa A. Davies of Catawba, Michelle L. Livermore of Wakeman; brother, Glen Mikolanda of Lorain; 6 grand children, Heather McAtee, Tiffanie Neal, Cassada Stever, Pierce, Kylie and Abigail Livermore; and 2 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father, Otto Mikolanda and mother Mary (nee Krosky) Mikolanda, August 5, 2005. Friends may call Saturday, August 20, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Charles Livermore, assistant pastor of the Kipton Community Church, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
