Marcia "Mott" C. McGraw (nee Curley), 86, of Vermilion, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness. She was born February 17, 1928 in Richlands, VA and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 60 years moving from Richlands. Marcia had worked as an Avon representative for over 50 years. Marcia was a member of the Harbourtown Community Church, Vermilion, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and a prayer warrior, AMVETS Post #22 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Lorain Women's Bowling Association and Hall of Fame. She had been the captain of her high school basketball team and loved watching college basketball. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, crafts, and was an excellent housekeeper who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She is survived by her son, Paul ( Shelley) McGraw, of Vermilion; daughters, Kippy (Bruce) Johnson of Concord, NC, Bunny (Charles) Adkins of Vermilion, and Pamela (John) Dabney of North Topsail Beach, NC; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cappy Hurst of Amherst. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McGraw in 1973; parents, Jay Calvin and Ouida (nee Loving) Curley; 6 brothers, and 1 sister. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
