Margaret Marie Korhel

Margaret Marie Korhel (nee Roll), 76, of Huron, died Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home after a sudden illness. She was born February 17, 1945 in Edinburgh, Scotland and had been a Huron resident for the past 34 years moving from Vermilion. Margaret was vice president and co-owner with her husband, John, of Joret Enterprises Inc where she worked doing the accounting. Margaret was a member of the Vermilion Boat Club and had enjoyed playing golf and tennis before giving those things up to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Korhel of Huron; son, John (Frances) Korhel of Denver, CO; daughter, Rhonda (John) Conway of Vermilion; grandchildren: Kayla, Madeline, Joshua, John, and Elizabeth; step grandchildren: Emma, Abigayle, Brittany, Isabel, Maxwell, and Sophia; and her sister, Beth of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Margaret (nee McGuire) Roll. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
