Margaret Ruth 'Peggy' Zelina

Margaret Ruth "Peggy" Zelina (nee Hesselman), 91, of Vermilion, died Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a sudden illness. She was born September 2, 1924 in Lawrenceville, PA, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 9 years moving from Lorain. Margaret had worked in various capacities including working as a clerk at National Pharmacy, Lorain, as a manager of an apartment complex, bar tending, and cleaning homes and businesses. She had attended St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her children and crafts, especially crocheting. She is survived by her daughters, Louise (William) Herndon and Bonnie Stout of Vermilion; son, George McClaren of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren: Michelle, Jessica, Eric, and Cassandra; great grandchildren: Caitlyn, Zoey, and Luke; brother, Charles Hesselman of PA; and sister, Edith Worrell of PA. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, John McClaren in 1960, 2nd husband, Walter Miles, and 3rd husband, Paul Zelina in 1986; parents, Charles Robert Jr. and Helen (nee Bitzer) Hesselman; and a sister, Dorothy Craddock.
