Margery Zapletal

Margery L. Zapletal (nee Ames), 81 of Toledo, died Saturday, February 2, 2008 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain. She was born March 26, 1926 in Toledo and has been a lifelong resident. Margie loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed the weekend of her granddaughter's wedding last October with all of her friends and family. Survivors include her son, William Zapletal of New York City, NY; daughters, Laurie (Stan Bahorek) Zapletal of Vermilion, Stephanie (Joe) Papio of Toledo; step-son, Edward Zapletal of Memphis, TN; step-daughter, Cindy Maxon of Safford, Arizona; sister, Janet Marshall of Toledo and Barbara Fox of Toledo; grandchildren, Amy Loudenslager (Chad), Eli Wuest, Sean Papio, Sarah Sanzone (Dominic), Aaron Papio and Seth Papio; great-grandchildren, Tayleigh, Zachory, Ethan and Evan Loudenslager; 5 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Kenneth and Gertrude Ames, sister, Phyllis Brusseau, an infant brother, James and an infant sister, Betty Ellen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 10:30 am at the Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Drive, Toledo, Ohio 43617 with the Reverend Larry Carey, officiating.
