Maria Hock (nee Adrigan), 75, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short illness. Maria was born March 1, 1939 in Pecs, Hungary and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 13 years moving from Elyria. She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church, Lorain and had been a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain. Maria had been the Vice President of the Hungarian Council, Lorain and enjoyed traveling and cooking. She is survived by her companion of 13 years, Charles Wojtko of Vermilion; daughter, Mrs. Dora Markus and son-in-law, Tibor Markus of Pecs, Hungary; 2 grandchildren: Koroly and Nikolett; and 1 great grandchild, Macaulay; brother, Ivan Adrigan; and sister, Magda Szoke both of Budapest, Hungary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Hock; and parents, Ivan and Maria (nee Ruhmann) Adrigan. Private services were held. Online condolences may be made at www.riddlefuneralhome.com
