Marilyn Walters

Marilyn Agnes Walters (nee Willer), 72, of Vermilion , died Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her son's home after a lengthy illness. She was born April 12, 1950 in Quincy, IL and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 35 years moving from Sandusky Ohio. She most recently resided in Etna Green, Indiana with her son. Marilyn worked for Parker Hannifin for 5 years, retiring in 2019. Marilyn took pride in having a nice looking yard and flowers, she enjoyed shopping and finding bargains. She was selfless and would do anything for others, especially her sons. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Rhya) Walters of Etna Green, IN, and Brain Walters of Lakewood, OH; grandchildren, Arianah Walters, Madison Stetzel, and Jahi ( Sierra) Stetzel all of NC; brothers, Wayne (Marcia) Willer of Gelena, MI, and Leroy (Lynn) Willer of Quincy, IL; and sister in law, Judy Willer of Quincy IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Walters; parents, Carl and Agnes (nee Shreacke) Willer; and her brother, Marvin Willer. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 12, 2022 at 1:00 at Rugby Cemetery, Vermilion with Reverend Jim Cooper officiating.
