Marion Rosemary Hura

Marion Rosemary Hura (nee Hansen), 70, of Vermilion, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born August 17, 1936 in New York, New York. She has been Vermilion resident since 1975. She had also lived in S. Amherst and Amherst. She worked as a librarian for Amherst Public Library, Lorain Community Hospital and Oberlin College. She enjoyed gardening and travel. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael G. Hura; 2 daughters, Michelle Mager of Newburg, NY and Melissa Harpst of Vermilion; 2 sons, Michael E. Hura of West Henrietta, NY and Matthew Hura of Rochester, NY; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Hansen and her parents, Roy and Mary (nee Romanauskas) Hansen. The family will receive friends, on Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 5-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio, where a Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 12 noon followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12:30 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion with Reverend Jim Holmer, pastor officiating.
