Mark Russell Eavenson

Mark Russell Eavenson, 55 of Vermilion, died Saturday, May 13, 2006 at home following a lengthy illness. He was born on July 25, 1950 in Berea, Ohio and has been a Vermilion resident most of his life. He served with the United States Marine Corp and worked as a union carpenter. He was a life member of the VFW Post #7576, AMVETS Post#22 and the American Legion Post #397, all in Vermilion and a member of the Masonic Ely Lodge #424. He is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Bottger) of Vermilion; sons, Tyler Eavenson of Vermilion and Mark Eavenson; sister, Barbara Takacs of Monroeville; brother, Kenneth Eavenson of Elyria. He was preceded-in-death by his parents, Russell and Erma (nee Haray) Eavenson. The family will recieve friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 from 1:00pm until the time of a memorial service at 2:00pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Reverend Louis Bertoni will officiate. Military Honors and Masonic Services will also be provided.
